So thank you devs for making an app that did what I was always disappointed that Apple didn’t do and thank you for being quick, polite, and helpful! And if you ever wanted your iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch to all know what the other devices were at for battery life, this should be perfect for you.Īlso the developers were quite quick to respond to my handful of questions on their Discord which I very much appreciate. So give this app a try if you ever were disappointed by Apple’s implementation of their Batteries widget. I am a big fan of this app for doing what Apple should have done with their own Batteries widget. It also works with other Bluetooth devices that report battery level to the iPhone. Also PowerToYou beats out the competition from other apps by being able to show the battery levels of the AirPods at all and also show them and AirPods case separately. I can see this as a widget on my phone or see the info on my Mac with it keeping sync quite well. PowerToYou is exactly what I was looking for because not only does it actually show the battery levels of my Mac, it also always displays the most recently reported battery level of all the devices you connect. ![]() It would only show my AirPods when they were actively connected and the Batteries Widget never showed my Mac’s battery level on my phone.īut then I found a way to make this work with this app. The built-in widget didn’t work how I wanted it to at all. , and AirPods but I pretty quickly found out that it only showed the battery levels of the devices directly connected to my iPhone at the moment I looked at it. When I first saw the Batteries Widget on iOS, I was kinda excited about the idea of seeing the battery life of my Mac, Mac accessories On watchOS, PowerToYou refreshes once or twice an hour if the complication is added to the current watch face. On macOS, PowerToYou refreshes in 30 minute intervals. NOTE: On iOS, PowerToYou refreshes in around 20 minute intervals if you add the widget. PowerToYou also supports bluetooth devices, including AirPods, most bluetooth headphones, the Apple Pencil, most keyboards, most mice, and even hearing aids. Buy it once and it will be available on all your Apple devices. PowerToYou for Apple platforms is a universal purchase. And if a device is low on battery, you even get a notification to charge it! PowerToYou also comes with a home screen widget so you don't even need to open the app. PowerToYou aims to minimise this issue by collating the battery levels of your devices in one place so you always know if one of your devices needs to be plugged in. As such, being low on battery can be a nightmare. The world has changed and we are more reliant on our devices than ever before.
